Paramore's Brand New Eyes
Paramore
Paramore, who are they when someone mentions the word to you? Do you think of the entire band, the latest gossip or maybe that crazy redhead that recently turned twenty? Who is Paramore? They are a band who has gotten signed back in 2004 to the broadly famous record label, Fueled by Ramen. They are not emo, one guitarist of the band says, Josh. Simply, they all say they're just there to make music. And they’re doing just that; and they have been doing that for quite a few years now as some of you may have noticed.
Their very first album, All We Know Is Falling, had many reasons to be made - especially the reason to the titling of their album. Then Riot! came along in 2007. Oh how feisty they were, weren’t they? They were destined to show how they’ve progressed over the years, how they have matured and changed. And for some odd reason, something about them has remained the same but who really knows what? Maybe the band members.. After all, they’re releasing a new prospective in recent interviews now. Hayley, the full-of-life redhead, has been setting the record straight of how they’ve matured, how much stronger and independent they have become, but one thing she never fails to leave out is how their seeing things with brand new eyes.
The album which is set to release in September on the twenty-ninth - Josh Farro’s [guitarist] birthday - is titled Brand New Eyes. Almost every band member says their album is about much more then what the past two have been about, and so far as their entire album is being exclusively premiered on MySpace what they’ve said has turned out to be completely and unbelievably true. The songs in the eleven tracked album has provoked several emotions out of me already such as sadness, anger, happiness, fear, realization, et cetera. Every song at least has its own bite of reality in it and they too are making me see with a whole different perspective.
The entire album is an emotional train ride.. But, the album never does get boring; in fact, it keeps you glued to your headphones or speakers just waiting for another shocking verse to pop up. With the newest and official addition to their band, rhythm guitarist Taylor York, has added whole different edge to band as well but so has Hayley’s constantly growing voice. All in all, I am personally eager to purchase the album and give it a ten out of ten rating.
