A Clockwork Orange: Too Revealing?

Many have seen the movie A Clockwork Orange, made in 1971 by Stanley Kubrick. And a lot of people love it, placing it up with their favorite movies.
Perhaps it's even their favorite movie. But here's a question I throw at you, a question I've been contemplating for some time now ever since I watched the movie. With my mother.
Does A Clockwork Orange show too much? Are the amount of breasts and penises shown shocking? I'd say so. Before the movie was even half over my mom had to leave the room because the movie disgusted her with its complete honesty of the human body. I myself was blushing furiously, embarrassed to be watching a movie like this with my family.
I think it would've been just fine if they left it as a book, and a book only. When I was reading the book, I felt educated. Like I was learning something new. But when I watched the movie, I felt dirty and guilty. Like I shouldn't be watching this movie. Almost like a hand caught in the cookie jar kind of feeling. This film could almost be categorized as porn in my mind.
