Heroes
The cast of season one
The plot of Heroes is similar to that of a comic book. It contains overall plot arcs with smaller plot arcs entwined within them. Each episode reveals new questions and answers which help the progression of the characters as well as the over all story.
The first season of Heroes is divided into several story arcs including how each character discovers their powers and deals with how it will affect their lives, the mysterious murders of Sylar (portrayed by Zachary Quinto), the bizarre message “Save the cheerleader, save the world” as well as several love affairs.
The second season is set four months after the series finale (ending the main story arc of “How to stop an exploding man”) and each surviving character has gone their separate ways. Hiro Nakamura (Masi Oka) has traveled back in time and found his childhood hero, Claire Bennet (Hayden Panettiere) and her family are hiding in California to hide from the company her father (Jack Coleman) used to work for, Matt Parkman (Greg Grunberg) and Mohinder Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) have adopted Molly Walker, Nathan Petrelli (Adrian Pasdar) is awaiting his brother, Peter’s (Milo Ventimiglia) return, Peter is discovered far from home and new Heroes West, a boy at Claire’s school and Maya and Alejandro are introduced, all of which possess various powers. And a series of disturbing paintings painted by Isaac Mendez (Santiago Cabrera).
This show, filled with complex and confusing stories, well developed characters and scenes which crank up tension and anticipation to new levels, Heroes is definitely show that everybody should chance.
