Talk About Some Total Drama

Talk About Some Total Drama All the characters from TDI and TDA

Cartoon Network's latest reality show has caught the eyes and ears of tons of Canadian and American kids. The problem is, it's not real. It's rehearsed like every other TV show in America and Canada. That's 'cause it's an ANIMATED reality show and that's what made it so popular.

Total Drama Island is an amazing TV series where 22 teenage contestants compete to win $100,000. They go through challenges and tasks to win this crazy big amount of money, yet only one contestant will win the $100,000. Each challenge is based off of island life and what you could do on an island. And let's not forget our funny yet incredibly mean host, Chris McLean! Chris is an actor who decides the challenges that the contestants will do. Since Chris is so devilish, the contestants end up doing life-threatening challenges such as jumping off a cliff and into shark-infested water (of course, there was a little circle in the middle that was not shark infested, but you get the picture). Each time there is a challenge, the contestants must vote off one other player. Every player that wasn't voted off gets a marshmallow. The one that doesn't have to walk down the Dock of Shame, gets into the Boat of Losers, and go home.

Every teen is different, each with their own personality and attitude. They are:

TDI also has many love stories and pairings. Almost every camper has a soulmate. There are also secret relationships that are not mentioned in the TV series. But those take quite a while to explain, so I won't mention them right now. Here are the major pairings:

In the TDI series, Owen turned out to be the winner. The final three were Owen, Gwen and Heather. No one had guessed it was Owen. Let me tell you why Owen won: because nobody cared! Owen had no enemies. This can help us predict the winner of the sequel series Total Drama Action.

Total Drama Action is a new and better sequel to Total Drama Island. Only here, only 14 contestants are chosen, and they are the main characters. And the amount of money has changed, too. Here, they compete for $1,000,000 bucks instead of only $100,000. In TDA, the challenges are based on movies and how it feels like shooting a flick. However, we've only gotten up to The Final 6, so we really can't say that a specific person can win. However, we can make good guesses.

For example, I predict the Lindsay will win. Nobody cares about her, just like no one cared about Owen. But Owen won and that tells us that someone who's not that big of a deal can win. Some people are suggesting Beth and there are a couple of Harold-supporters. Owen was voted off already, so we can't rally for him. The tension is building up again for our TDI/TDA fans and we can't wait to see who is the big winner this time.
